Great mid-'60s Japanese surrealist movie ('Tanin no kao' in the original) in which a businessman scarred horribly by an industrial accident persuades a stranger to sell him his face to create a mask to cover his own disfigurement and seduce his own wife...

...it's not long, of course, before the mask begins to change the way that he behaves. As a well-executed exploration of the nature of identity, 'The Face Of Another' is pretty compelling, but the stylistic nods to James Whale's '30s version of the Invisible Man story, as well as 'La Jetee' from a few years before (which I coincidentally blogged about here a few months ago) make this worth seeking out.
